Relevant rules

Parties that meet the eligibility requirements for Track 1 can set their own requirements for monitoring, as set out in 9/CMP.1, Annex, paragraph 23.

For Track 2 projects, the Guidance on criteria for baseline setting and monitoring sets out:

• the general process for establishing and approving a monitoring plan;
• the information that is required to be contained in the monitoring plan;
• the requirements for implementing and modifying a monitoring plan; and
• the requirement to prepare and submit a monitoring report.
