Focal point
Project participants are required to nominate one or more focal points for handling communications with the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (JISC).
A Party involved in an Article 6 project shall inform the secretariat of:
- Its designated focal point for approving projects pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1(a) (9/CMP.1, Annex, paragraph 20(a)).
The focal point must be nominated in a statement signed by all project participants:
One or more project participants shall be nominated as focal point(s) for handling all communication with the JISC in the form of a statement, including contact details, signed by all project participants (Modalities of communication of project participants with the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee, Version 1, JISC 8, Annex 4, paragraph 6).
For small-scale bundled projects, a single project participant should be nominated as the focal point (Modalities of communication of project participants with the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee, Version 1, JISC 8, Annex 4, footnote 1).
